IRFs

Inpatient Rehabilitation Facilities (IRFs) are free-standing rehabilitation hospitals and rehabilitation units in acute care hospitals. IRFs provide an intensive rehabilitation program; patients admitted to IRFs must be able to tolerate three hours of intense therapy per day.

Like some other health care providers, IRFs are highly regulated and are often a target of Recovery Auditor (RAC) audits and other Medicare contractor audits. Attorneys with The Health Law Partners, P.C., strive to guide our clients through the complex regulatory compliance issues faced by IRFs. At The Health Law Partners, P.C., we have the experience required to prepare our IRF clients and position them for maximum success in this ever-changing landscape.
