DAN B. BROWN joined the Health Law Partners, P.C. in 2010 to open the firm's Georgia office and serve as its managing shareholder. Mr. Brown has extensive experience advising clients on the legal and regulatory issues impacting hospitals, physician groups, ambulatory surgery centers, sleep laboratories, dialysis clinics and independent diagnostic testing facilities. He has over twenty years experience dealing with state and federal privacy, reimbursement, self-referral, anti-kickback, and licensure laws as they relate to the structure and operation of healthcare businesses.

Mr. Brown represents a variety of providers of sleep medicine, ranging from multi-state managers of physician-owned labs to owner-operators of stand-alone sleep centers operated as part of physicians’ offices or as Independent Diagnostic Testing Facilities. He advises a variety of health care providers in their expansion, reorganization and provision of health care services, as well as compliance with fraud and abuse and HIPAA regulations.

He is on the faculty of the Atlanta School of Sleep Medicine where he lectures on legal aspects of sleep medicine and sleep lab operations, a member of the Board of Directors of the National Sleep Foundation, Washington, D.C., and is on the National Advisory Board of the Sleep Center Management Institute in Atlanta, Georgia.
