Ms. Ottenwess has been a litigator since 1994 focusing primarily on medical-legal issues, successfully defending major healthcare institutions and practice groups as well as individual practitioners. In addition, she is consulted by both healthcare facilities and practice groups for her critical evaluation of any issue affecting risk management. Ms. Ottenwess is also an appellate practitioner, representing her clients on a vast array of medical-legal issues in the Michigan Court of Appeals, the Michigan Supreme Court and the Federal Courts, including the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
At The Health Law Partners, P.C., Ms. Ottenwess practices with the litigation group and the Medicare and RAC Audit practice group.
Ms. Ottenwess is a member of the State Bar of Michigan (Member, Health Care Law Section, Appellate Section), Women Lawyer’s Association of Michigan (Wayne County Region).
